ALL lights are good. Now, what is the intended usage?
BTW, a 3D Maglite is also 45lm like the Stealthlite.
And, a 4D Maglite is about 72lm comparable to the Mitylite's 70lm.
Not bad power output for the 4aa flashlights, but run time will be less with AA than D cells.
Thanks that link is helpful... I may get actually get the 2430. The throw isn't as good, but I care more about brightness since I will just be using it for general use.
I have the black 2400...pretty bright for a 4-AA...nice beam, tough as nails. No nonsense light. Took it caving it watery conditions, and it didn't miss a beat. Most of my lights are SF, but when I NEED a water proof handheld, this is the one that goes with me. The switch makes it nice to operate with gloves etc. as well.
They are okay if you can find spare bulbs for a reasonable price (Pelican bulbs are like rocking horse poo around here), and the bulbs are not worth Canadian retail markups, or shipping fees. My Stealthlight makes a nice paperweight right about now.
