Hello,
...a friend asked me to replace an SSC P7 emitter for an XM-L U2 for the light engine
of an "Aleph L.E." light, standard size- I am not a collector of flashlights, I never
owned a collectors light like this, but: as soon as I received the original light I knew:
The original light engine is unique & untouchable- so I decided to find another way:
To see: ...the Aleph L.E., original light engine, the original Maglite-light engine,
a switch, a P60 reflector:
...some parts before and after:
...this should it be like:
...original engine and replacement XM-L U2, front:
...original engine and replacement XM-L U2, backside:
...another view:
...about 2mm black plastic to find the focus for the reflector:
-Beamshot with SSC-P7 engine:
-Beamshot with XM-L U2 "Mc Guyver" engine:
Best regards from Frankfurt,
Steffen.
