Fenix TA-20, Yes or No?

Hey guys, my first post & I look forward to learning alot here from the guys who know.
Does a anyone have first-hand experience with the Fenix TA-20? I actually researched the TA-21 and settled on it until I found out they're discontinued. After checking out the TA-20, I realized I really don't need 12 brightness settings and 4 would do fine.

The purpose of this light will be an EDC / Truck light, I see it's pretty big for EDC but I'm used to bulky gear. I'm wondering how Fenix stacks up against Surefire, quality wise that is. This TA-20 is cheaper than a 9P, appears to be about the same size, and is brighter (225 lumens compared to the 9P's 200 max). I also like the strobe function, beltclip, and "self-defense" head & tailcap, none of which are offered in the 9P.

I know it sounds like I've made up my mind but before I go for it, I wanted some opinions from the experts. Thanks guys in advance for any insight you can offer.

The TA-20 is a unique choice, but it definitely is built like a tank, and is straightforward to use. As long as you're comfortable with how big it is, I can't see a reason to avoid it.

Be sure that you've also considered the Sunwayman V20C and the Thrunite Scorpion..
