L2 Stock tail wont fit on 6P body?

Hey guys,

I'm a little confused, because my z59 from my 6PD will fit fine on my L2M, but the stock L2 tail wont screw down onto the 6P. I'm able to get about half a turn before it completely resists anymore turning. Almost as if the threads dont match... but they match on the other light :duh2:

I looked inside to see if there was any extra ring but nothing appears to be in the way. Anyone have any info?

Thank you for the clarification... I assumed they're supposed to bc I saw a bunch of ads and a few threads that claimed that L2-S1 does fit...

I have found the same thing... puzzles me too. my SF-G2 accepts BOTH Z41 and the solarforce rev-clicky with just a little bit of slop and free play. My 6P only accepts the Z41, the solar only threads a turn or two before it binds. I think the 6P tail threads might have slightly tighter tolerances, and just enough difference in shape from the G2 and solarforce hosts to make a difference.

Nevermind what I said above. I thought you were talking about a Surefire L2. I know nothing about SolarForce stuff.
