I am thinking of picking up an Olight M3X but I read this on the Olight web site and GoingGear web site:

Warning: Please use high mode sparingly. Due to its high power consumption, an excessive amount of heat may be built up and it may harm the batteries and the flashlight.

So how long can I run it on high? How long do you run yours on high before there are issues?

Does anybody have the M3X and the SR51? I would love to know how those compare.

So you want someone to run their m3x on high until it's damaged and then tell you how long it took to destroy the light?

:huh2: I'm pretty sure that is not what I asked.

How long have you run your M3X continuously on high?

I'd like to get an idea of what "use high mode sparingly" means. If I buy the light, I'd like it to work for more than 5 or 10 minutes on high.
