I"m looking for:

1) 550-600 lumens continuous operation, no stepping down

2) single 18650

3) forward clicky tail switch, for "tactical" use

4) has a clip

is there such a light?

The Lumintop TD-15X is this exactly. Available in both cool and neutral tints. Got mine from goinggear.com.

For a budget approach, you could source a Solarforce host (the new L2T is sharp) with clip and forward clicky. Add a Nailbender XM-L drop-in (choose your own tint!) and you're set. :twothumbs:
