Purely out of curiosity, has ARC ever installed Surefire 123 cells in ARC LS flashlights?

Arc has never sold LS's with Surefire cells but plenty of people (including me) have used Surefire cells in LS's.

Why do you ask?

Naw, I'm just asking if ARC ever installed Surefire batteries in brand new ARC LS lights. The reason I ask is that I recently bought a brand new ARC LSH-P sealed in the ziplock bag with the intact QC sticker and the battery was a Surefire. Hmmmmm...

I may have posted too quickly.

I don't know for a fact that they have never sold them with Surefires. All I can say is that I have only seen and heard of them coming with Duracells.

You will need Peter to chime in for the bottom line.

Just out of curiousity, did you get it straight from Arc or from a vendor?

I was waiting to hear where you bought it. We don't use SF batteries in our lights. I suspect a dealer installed the battery at some point.

Unless is was a second, it might have been returned with a SF installed.

So where did you get it?

Is it possible it was returned to ARC with a Surefire installed and then repackaged with the SF battery still in there?
