Maglite XL50 Yellowish tint?

Hi all just brought myself a Maglite XL50 its nice and well bright to look at the beam not quite directly obviously, but when you wall/ceiling test its got a yellowish tint in the middle of the spot is this normal? or does it have a problem,anyone's XL50 the same or is there a problem/fault with it..

only trying to get some opinions and answers.!

All of my flashlights has a spot with more yellowish or greenish tint then the spill.

It can happen, depending how well you draw on the tint lotto.
I have always found 5000K neutral sunlight to be a tad yellow, compared to pale white WC tints.

So slight yellow color is not always a bad thing in my book.

Take your light out and compare it to 12:00 high noon sunlight, is it more yellow or more pale than that? If its a match (or close to it) you have a winner IMHO. If you get one without green tint its definitely a keeper.

I had the XL50 it has a purple and blue tint. I returned it and ended up getting the Fenix E21 Neutral for the same price. Return it and get the Fenix E21 neutral it's has so much more value for the same amount money. If you do decide to get it get the neutral model.
