That V60C looks awesome!! Finally a light with a charging base! Sunwayman is looking better and better, they are coming out with some really great lights.

I hope that the V60C charger is a really smart one. Charging 6 RCR123s in series in an airtight metal container may lead to some surprises.

I think Sunwayman had taken care of that.......
from their spec sheet: "Broad-voltage design, compatible with 3x18650 or 6xCR123A batteries (when using 16340, the light CANNOT be charged by the flashlight charging base)."

I'm very excited to see the V60C, I love Sunwayman's magnetic control rings!

Very nice! Sunwayman's offerings are very nice. Love the ring and the charging base. Should be very long runtime with a setup like that.

Personally not to concerned with the charging aspect. Wolf-eyes has been offering a 3x18650 with charging adapter in a similar manner and have never read a thread here with anyone having issues.

Looks like a pretty tightly sealed head though - going to be hard to open that head to mod the LED. Sunwaymans lights are definitely on the harder to mod side.

The V60C is a nice looking light - it grows on you very quickly; it gradually makes their M60R 6xCR123 look a little less slick.
Just hope the V60C 3x18650 performs, that's all.
Sunways have the looks, but just needs to perform, esp like an Eagletac M3C4 & Catapult V3 2x18650, or RRT-3 3x18650...

The V60C just made it to the top of my wish list!

Any idea what the price and availability will be?

Hm...the R20A would look a bit more elegant without branding stamped all over it.

Not that I know anything else about what is probably a very good light (that looks grea ttoo), but if going for that sleek look...a little less "I'M A NIKE, SWOOSH!" effect might be a bit better.

The V60C does remind me of the Jetbeam RRT3 (and that's utter flashlight porn)

<too much branding>

Hell to get the light I want, I'd volunteer to get a full color tatoo of "SUNWAYMAN" if they'd just make a tailstanding medium mode head T.F.O. only ~3.5x.75" 1xAA; a tat of their name as big as would fit across my entire pinky toe!

Just to drag the thread a little off topic for a sec: I wonder what tattoo I'd have to get to be given a free Tri-V?

Back on topic: With a good charging station, this V60C may well be the perfect kitchen torch. You know, like the magcharger (or the Arlec rechargeables that many Australians would be familiar with). Leave it in the pantry, charged and ready to go. I just hope the charger terminates properly or :poof:!

Precisely my thoughts. Also safer to give non-flashaholics. Capacity of Li-ions with not nearly so much danger of futzing the charging &c.
