Hey guys, been reading up on cerakote finishes and I've noticed that they rub off easily and chip, etc..
How would a fully cured duracoat finish fair on a flashlight? I've seen 'nutnfancy' on youtube duracoat quite a few of his firearms and one of his Maelstrom G5s, and it seems like a much better option than cerakote. His firearms don't seem to wear that much even though they're used quite a bit.
I'm thinking a desert tan duracoated 6P/Z2/C2 would look pretty freakin' sweet!

What are your thoughts and experiences?

I have items with both, Duracote is softer at first (months for full cure) After that the Cerakote is still somewhat tougher.

Darn, I like the idea of a matte desert tan light. I just don't like the way the Cerakote wears, it looks awesome at first but when the bare metal shows, it starts to look kinda cheap from what I've seen from pictures.
