Im looking to do a SST-90 mag mod is it a good thing to do a direct drive on the LED or is the some good drives out there maybe some good websites you can let me no about thanks

The SST-90 can take quite a bit of amperage. If I'm not mistaken, several folks are direct driving them on 3 or 4 C and D NiMHs with great results. Big Chelis and others could tell you more but there are probably already several threads discussing it. Try doing a search.
