Ok to start, I own a couple of Surefires, M3 and M910A, so this is not a slam on their products at all. No doubt they know how to make a light! But the way the LED market is coming on as far as pricing and technology and quality of product what is up with their pricing. I mean I can go with some of my favorite companies and get a light that is built like a tank too, for a much lower price. Sure believe in buying American specially this day and age but they sure make it hard. Like the T1A Titan they have for around $ 256.00 with shipping
