Hello all,

I just bought a Thrunite neutral neutron 2AA and I ordered some protected 14500s to go with it.
I then realized that as protected 14500s are larger than unprotected ones, this may not work.

Does anybody know if this will work? Or did I waste $17?

If you are using two 14500 batteries you will blow the led bulb. Only the 2C can take voltage but you would need to take that high voltage head and put it on the 2AA tube. For the 2AA head you are best using NiMH AA batteries. The neutron 1A can use one 14500 battery.

Only the 1A is capable of being fed with a single 14500. I am running mine on AW 14500. Like what was said, two 14500 will blow the circuitry on the 2A since it was rated only 0.9 - 4.2 volts. The 2A and 1A are both using the same head and circuitry.
