TnC Enterprises did a special run of brass and copper E2C adaptors a while ago. I picked up one of each and ultimately decided I liked the copper one better. I don't have anything to use the brass one for, so here it is. The brass has been treated with a darkening solution and then buffed to highlight the areas that will get rubbed anyway, making the patina pretty much perfect from the get-go. It'll look great in an anodized lego-light, because the darkening will keep the brass from standing out too much. The heatsinking capacity of the brass is unaffected.

Also for sale is a lightly-used Torch Lab Tri-XPG drop-in. The emitter tint is neutral and the brightness sequence is Hi-Md-Lo. The back end shows the remnants of a couple solder blobs I added so I could use this in a non-standard host, but the remaining solder is purely cosmetic -- it won't affect the fit in a standard host at all. (I tried it just to make sure.
) Other than that, it's in pristine condition and it's like having a tiny sun in your hand.
