Hi,
I'm interested in a custom led maglite based on the regular D maglite, or something that looks very similar. It should have an SST-90 or equal or better running at up to full reasonable potential, I imagine around 2000 lumens. More power is always nice, but I do want it to be a single LED or at least appear to be one. It should have continuously variable power (possibly using a switch/pot like on a car radio).
I would like it to be able to take a lithium battery pack or D batteries of any type, and to be able to be charged or have batteries thrown in, and have a car charger.
I would also ideally like to be able to switch out two different maglite bodies (like a 2D and a 6D). Or maybe just two lights if the price works.
I'd appreciate any inquiries from custom builders about this, especially price estimates. Also, if any part of this is not practical, please tell me because it can be adjusted.
