I can't believe I spent $50 on a Lenser when I could have got something so much more superior. Back then I wasn't enlightened by CPF. Thank you CPF for all the enlightenment. The Lenser already needs Lubing and O-Rings replacement. Here's how you take it apart. If you want to share your thoughts on Lensers please do so.
Sorry had problems uploading pics from Flickr so I posted the links.

-First twist the head where the lens are located

-twist the emitter until it falls apart

-Twist the focusing system off (don't know if this works for the speed focus mine is twist to focus)

-twist the battery holder off
-Lube the parts
-reassemble the light

I hope this helped. I had trouble figuring it out.

Well, I am for sure not one of the ppl who advise FOR Lenser, more the opposite.

But that a mechanism, that is constantly moved, will get drying of rings and (possibly) needs additional service/lubrication, more than usual, not so often moved, parts, ...
I would consider that as normal
