LD01 on medium (28l) vs. E05's (27/30l) runtime on an L92?

Fenix actually lists a longer runtime for the LD01's medium setting than for their e05, but I've seen some crazy reports (& supporting time elapsed pics) around here about how long the E05 stays constant on an energizer AAA lithium- flat for twice as long as its published runtime. So don't count on the LD01 behaving similarly on medium despite its equal output, since it has to manage a 77l high mode as well?

I luv the E05 when I need more light than my E01. I am sure I read on here the E05 is 5 hours run time on a Lithium. On an eneloop I get about 2 months use on the E05 but, I only use it when I need it.

That's why I want to know whether the LD01's medium mode has an equally impressive runtime on the same battery. Everyone seems to test runtimes for Hi's & Lo's, but medium mode is Jan Brady.
