Hi

What would be more useful 10/120 or 30/120 lumens ?
I typically use flashlight around the house and some outside ?
What you guys think it would be more useful in general 10 or 30 lumens or it depends on the task?
Input appreciated

I use my SureFire E1e around the house. It's output is just 15 lumens and is more than adequate for many nightly indoor tasks. For me a lower low is desirable. I'd get the 10/120 first and if it's not enough go for the 30/120.

10/120...30 is too much for many nightly upclose tasks, and can strain your eye's...the 10 will be perfect for most everything...I perfer the 15/100 of the Surefire L2, but 10 is doable. Keep in mind though, that 10 is probably too bright to be used "stealthily", and you may wake loved ones up, etc...for minimal light navigation, between .5-2 lumens is perfect to navigate without busting your arse or waking others up.

I totally agree with the previous posters. The 10/120 would be the better combo. I think we're so used to seeing the large numbers like 230 and 300 lumens that numbers like 10 seem puny in comparison.
Most people ever only need 10-30 lumens to do everyday erm... night tasks.

Remember that the Fenix E01 has a very usable 10 lumens output.

Years ago, 30 lumens was around the max that led flashlights put out and that was considered bright. It's still bright now. I'd go with 10/120.

Though ideally, I'd like 0.5/10/60/120.

the lowest mode on my Maratac AAA and on my iTP A2 is perfect for round-the-house navigation at night, and that's only 1.5 lumens :D.
the ~34 lumens that my Veleno Designs E-series dropin produces on low is bright enough to be dazzling if my eyes are adapted to the dark :)
