carved up the rear of the housing to make room for an LFLEX driver



copper heatspreader cut from 14g (2mm) copper sheet.
Bottom contacts of the CREE XML removed with a diamon burr grinder in a rotary tool.


LFLEX driver was used as a template to mark holes on the copper heat spreader.

lfex connected up and stuck to heat spreader with supplied adhesive pad.


Driver is controlled by this tactile switch soldered to a length of 2 core wire and connections covered with heatshrink.


Reflector glued onto heatspreader, ready to install in minewt housing.
