Thread: Lower the Low mode on T100C2 technique

Default Lower the Low mode on T100C2 technique

You can adjust the low mode on the T100C2 Mark 1 and 2 to a very very low mode or bright mode if you want.

    1) remove the aluminum driver retainer ring.
    2) pop open the driver
    3) use a small screw driver and adjust a resistor in the middle of the driver. Clockwise brightness increase. Counter clockwise for lower brightness.

Very intersting, a lower low could be very benificial.

How did you remove the retainer? I tried awhile back with my P100a2, but it won't come off.

If I turn the resistor counter-clockwise to lower the brightness; does this means it will automatically lower both modes?

Scoop the retainer ring out near the split with a flat head. It pops right out.

I agree a lower Low would be nice but be careful, would'nt want to void your warranty if you mess something up

Good point, I've thought bout it and I'm pretty happy with the modes as they are, I have smaller lights for low lows.

Thanks for sharing this tip. I have a T100C2 and it's great, but I do think there should be more spread between the two modes. I love CPF!

That's outstanding. The only reason I never picked up a T100 is the low was way too high for me. Some pics would be greatly appreciated.
