Just bought a jar of silicone today and time to maintain the orings
Ive rubbed away all the old lubes and applied the new one
Put the quality away first
Seems Surefire's twisty suppose to work with less lube as a sufficient lube makes it too
Slippery and the control arent smooth anymore due to a low resistance(mechanical)
Amount of lube added is: the whole thread gets surrounded by it and the oring remains shiny, i.e. all the parts are covered by lubes
In the beginning i do this because i want to get more waterproofness
but seems now ive overdone it and the effect reversed
what do u think

What i use is a colourless(or milky gray, semitransparent) silicone
Unlike toothpasted, it looked like vaseline but thicker
