All my flashlights have some dust particles behind the lens and also some on the reflector, does that mean they are not waterproof as claimed or the dust went in during manufactoring? Its clear that you see it only when the light is on. In fact i havent seen a 100% dust free light yet but i have only 4 until now. Some manufactors warn not to open and clean the reflector because everything will get worse

I'm in the same boat, and I find it really annoying. Being a watch guy, I'm accustomed to everything under the glass being perfect, so the dust really gets on my nerves. Has no affect on the beam, but hey, that's what OCD is all about.

It means those manufacturers do not have a production facility that is dust-free and/or does not assemble using laminar flow workbenches.

That is all.

You should not infer that they are not waterproof.
