Question for fans of Malkoff.

Latest Wildcat and Hound Dog. Between massive flood and massive floody throw, where does the M91 fit in. Go for the animals or save money and get the M91?

M91 is a flood monster with almost as much throw as a regular M61

The M91 is a flood with half the output of the V3 Wildcat. Throw goes somewhat further with the Wildcat over the M91, but not huge. However, the overall flood is brighter all around with the Wildcat.

The Hound Dog XML is primarily throw, but spills nicely, and it throws 75-100 yards further than than the others too.

The advantage of the M91 is that it has the slimmer head with the P60 format, and can be used in any P60 host.
The HD or Wildcat stomp the M91 for outright performance, and well they should for the price differences.

I use the Malkoff M91 in an old Surefire light. It is crazy-bright. Nice tint. It is a floody light. My Hound Dog out throws it. The smaller form-factor of the P60 means it can be used with many different lights. Pocketable as well.

I suppose someone has to say it… but what's your intended application?
