After finding the difference in using quality 18650 batteries in my lights and finding that AW and Redilast batteries don't get near as hot in my lights, it got me to thinking.

I have a Xeno E03 and I have some Trustfire 14500 batteries for it. The light gets very hot in just a few minutes with a Trustfire 14500 battery on high mode and also on medium mode. Would a better quality battery from AW make it so the light doesn't get as hot in this light? Also, the Trustfire is rated at 900 mAh and I see that AW 14500 is only listed at 750 mAh. Any experience of the Trustfire being over rated similar to Ultrafire 3000 18650 batteries not being anywhere close to 3000mAh?

Short answer NO.

Long answer:
25% of energy leaves the LED as light. 75% as heat.
Most 1AA lights top out at 90 lumens.
The E03 with 1AA top out at 200 lumens. 2.2X more light. 2.2X more heat.
The E03 with 14500 top out at 500 lumens. 5.5X more light. 5.5X more heat.
The body is simply too small to handle all that heat. Nothing to do with the battery.

Even with a 1AA you should be running the E03 in medium, using high only in short bursts. (Why do you think the E03 comes medium-low high and not high-medium-low?)

If you want a 500+ lumen light that runs cool get a BIGGER light. Like a Fenix TK41.
