Very good chart, Norm. Can you put it on a website somewhere?

Thanks Billy,

It seems like CPF is the natural place for it, maybe under reviews. I'll get Sasha's opinion.

Rather than Excel, I've been thinking it would be great to have a real flashlight database, with these specs, runtime and brightness measurements and graphs, links to beamshots and reviews, and so forth. It could be online so people could add to it at any time. Anyone up for that? Would CPF host it?

Re: Instant specs for 48 popular lights 4th Ed NEW

I showed my computer and Excel savvy Wife CJ the chart above. She sat down and started moving data around for the longest time. She made it an HTML file and we tried to re-post it here and couldn't. So we then decided to host it and provide a link. Perhaps the chart can now be printed-out and read a little easier. Feel free to nab it from my site and re-post this chart here on CPF, or where ever it best suits y'all. Please someone check it carefully as a lot of fields were manipulated and stuff happens. Hope this is cool. Thanks CJ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I placed it in Excel, and made this gif image:

Credit to Atomic6 et. al. as I just sucked the data out of the HTML page.

Atomic6, If you want to know how I did it (much smaller, than making/hosting a HTML table) let me know.... It's easy.

That's cool. CJ might be interested. Just glad that you were able to re-post it. We had it in Excell and then made an HTML file from that. Glad it was an easy Cut-& Paste. Hope someone checked it over!
