I've been out the flashlight world for a bit and now that I'm getting back into it, I need a bit of help deciding on what light to get. I have plenty of XP-G lights from a few months ago, and want to try out a pocketable XM-L light. I got a Jetbeam BC-40, so I have the 2x18650 thrower taken care of, now I'm looking for something in between EDC size and thrower size...
I'm really interested in the Sunwayman V20C and the 4Sevens Turbo X. I have plenty of 4Sevens lights, and love their Tactical UI. Does the Turbo X throw well for it's size? On the other hand, the V20C seems like an awesome UI but I don't know much about the light itself (build and beam quality). Both of these lights drive the XM-L at 1.5A, correct? I love the look of the Armytek Preditor 1.2, but the 1.5A XP-G turns me off for some reason (when an XM-L at 1.5A is supposed to be so much more efficient).
Are there any other lights in this class I should be considering? Here are my criteria:
>My main goal is a very bright light above all else
>Reasonably pocketable (6P size, pocket clip not required).
>Reasonable throw for a light this size. More throw is better, but not at the expensive of other features or a huge head size.
>18650 (or 17670) and 2xRCR123 compatible.
>Simple UI with no flashing modes easily accessible. Top level SOS is a deal killer to me.
>Priced at or under $100
>Nice tinted XM-L (reasonably cool or neutral, no purple or warm).
