1W LS centering?

I just got a SL TL2led, and found it to be bright and very white. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

The problem is that the beam pattern is way off center, resembling a comet with tail at tight focus. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

Anyone out there with a similar problem? Any suggestions on how to center the led without messing with the internals? Any and all replies will be held in strictest confidence ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If ida had the extra $40, I would have gotten the Baby Pin ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohgeez.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twakfl.gif

i'm not sure how the tl2 is designed, but it may be that the emitter itself is off-centered, or it could be that the die is uncentered within the emitter.
can you take a pic down the business end? i would assume it's possible to recenter it, but not haveing one or ever seeing one, it's hard to tell.
