Aurora Cree R2 Head on a Microstream body?????

Has anyone done this yet? I can not find any info on it if it has been done or will work. I am debating on buying a Fenix LD01 just to put the head on my Microstream but i would really like to know if the Aurora Cree R2 will work because the head looks to be almost identical as my MS head.

Has anyone done a comparison between the Aurora & LD001??


please help so i can order soon in time for a trip next week.
