Among all off-the-shelf (not custom made) LED flashlights that use a single battery (the battery can be 1 AA cell, or 1 C cell, or 1 D cell), which one exhibits the greatest Lumens rating?

If permitted in this forum, a link to a source where the flashlight can be purchased would be appreciated. The cost of the flashlight is not a concern.

Based upon a cursory Internet search and the text found in another Candle Power forum thread, it would appear that the "Peak Vesuvius" cannot presently be purchased as an off-the-shelf item.

The peak Vesuvius will be available very soon.

To the OP: There is the zebralight SC51, last time I checked it was the brightest off the shelf AA torch available.

Isn't that a AAA keychain light?

Anyway, why a AA, C, or D cell? Why not lithium? They would be much brighter.

yes, I think lithium is more suitable for a torch, because it's brighter and can use for more times.
