Any "Wall of Light" like Thrunite Neutron 2A without issues?

Hi. I'm looking for a light that is basically a very wide spot with a bright corona. Like the beamshots I've seen of the Thrunite Neutrons but without the variablity in build and reflector and output that I've read about. I saw some posts about the Neutron's occasional poor builds, and other posts about the beam quality not being at all consistent between two different samples.

I'd like a bright and wide wall of light -not a pure flood and not just a lot of spill. My price range is up to about $70. I'd like a few different power settings too - so that it would be useful in different indoor scenarios as well as outdoors.

Does such a light exist? Thanks for your help.

I think any XM-L LED based light is the way to go if you want a wall of light. You can try 4Sevens Quark 2AA either with a tactical or regular UI.

I agree with pj... the xm-l's larger size should lend well to flood... also... getting a light with a shallow(er) reflector would be a consideration.
