Which Lumapower D Mini EX2 For Brightness And Throw. XRE-R2 Or XML ???

I am looking at picking up one of the lumapower D-Mini EX2's with the turbo force head designed for the EX2 plus the D65 body for using 1 18650, but I dont know which led to get.

I heard the XML doesnt throw as far but they say the xml is driven harder on the EX2.

So all I need to know is which will throw farther and have a larger hotspot, the XRE R2 version or XML?.

Also anyone know what the runtimes would be for each?.

All else being equal... the XR-E's will have better throw due to a smaller footprint and tighter viewing angles. XML can be driven harder and put out more lumens for sheer power but like I said... all else being equal the XR-E will out throw an XM-L
