jetbeam 3 M on/off switch failing intermittently

i have a question regarding my jetbeam 3 m with xpg r5 led my tail switch sometimes fails to lock in the on position after a few tries it stays on , does anybody know if the switch can be replaced with a mcclicky switch does it fit without any changes

If you use rubber of surefire z41, you will be gratified with the result.

that's awesome, thank you for the advice. I don't know why the pictures didn't show up for me earlier but thanks a lot for the information. I will do exactly that.

Before you change switches try this: Using small longnose pliers tighten the ring that holds the switch in the tailcap. Sometimes that works.

great tip, i will try that since i won't replace the switch till it actually dies anyway. Thanks for the response!

I replaced jetbeam's switch with Mcclicky

no need to modify anything to accept mcclicky?

I don't know if all Jetbeam tail switches are the same, but, the switch that's in my PA10 looks like a McClicky with one huge exception: it's taller overall. The threaded section is thinner on the Jetbeam switch and swapping a McClicky results in the tail cap sitting further out by about 1/8".
