Hi all,

It's been a while since I've posted one of these, as I like to research things myself, but I'm having a hell of a time finding what I want.

I'd like to be able to have a single XP-G in a 2C mag, running on 2x26500's.

I know there's a Malkoff dropin, but it's out of stock and they charge through the nose for shipping to Australia.

For bonus points - It has to be easily modified to I can take out the crappy 6000K emitter that'll likely be in the dropin and replace it with a High CRI XP-G.

Help anyone?

8.4V drivers are either too expensive or hard to get. I'd do a mod using a 7135 driver, use a single 26650 with a fabbed spacer and be done with it.

I used the 26650 from Lighthound, stripped off the outer shrink covering, and it fits in a new 2C mag just fine.

Fair enough... but how do I get the XP-G in there? I'm not a skilled modder.

I would say do a search on the forums for mag mods-loads of them here. If it were me, I'd get a dropin that can easily be modded as you mentioned and swap emitters and whatever else.
