what other p60 led drop in offer long runtimes over 5 hours

There are so many p60 drop in's, it makes my head spin. Can someone tell me who makes a long runtime led dropin besides malkoff m61l and m61ll. I know the malkoffs are great, but Im looking to make a cheap utility light out of a surefire g2

You do realize that runtime has as much to do with battery capacity as emitter efficiency, right?

What batteries are you intending to use? Primaries or rechargeables?

Huh??? Many drop ins are fully regulated, and go into direct-drive only after voltage falls below a certain level.

Solarforce makes many drop-ins that can run in low mode for way more than 5 hours. They list the run times of each mode
on their website.

Besides the various multimode budget dropins that include medium & low outputs in addition to the standard max output, there are very few options available for a dedicated long-runtime module besides the Malkoff L & LL's. To my knowledge, there aren't any other production dropins that do this.

What I did find interesting is that kosPap recently sold a custom-built one in the thread below, and it took nearly 3 weeks to sell (at a very reasonable price). :shrug:
