Happy 100th birthday Chevrolet

I've always been a Chevy person, going back to the two-toned white and plum BelAir my family we had in the 50s. And I still clearly remember Dinah Shore's famous jingle, See the USA in your Chevrolet.

Also, a '57 Bel Air is faithfully reproduced in Forza 4; it looks like a lot of fun until you realize they reproduced the 2-on-the-tree transmission too. Sure is smooth though..

Was playing with the "Take Photo" feature in Forza this evening; the aforementioned Bel Air:

Had to resize that a lot; a crop from the actual 8.3 megapixel render:

The same car after I got my hands on it; motor from an '02 35th Anniversary Camaro under the hood scoop, flake paint with airbrushed detail across the top fender line, Torq-Thrust wheels with gold rims, tinted windows, race coil-overs, etc. 0-60 in 4.0 secs..

In some European countries there are quite a few commercials for small Chevrolet branded cars made by Daewoo; Chevrolet Aveo, Spark, Cruze and so on. Used to be Daewoo branded here.
