When I received my HDS Systems EDC 170 Lumen Tactical directly from HDS Systems the other day! I'm also absolutely pleased that I decided to invest in it's Kydex holster as well!
The programmed 40 second burst works well for my use and this little light does throw, as well as having a useable spill! After shinning it on a wall to time it's programmed output step down as well as to see the difference in it's output. I now understand why it's said that the step down isn't noticeable unless your looking for it.
I also appreciate and agree with the sentiments that this EDC most certainly can be the last EDC I'll need to buy.

i don't like much the HDS, but harlee and calvin are real beauties!
