A better reflector for the newer Mag LED flashlights

I picked up one of the newer 2 D LED Maglights at Home Depot over the weekend. It really is pretty amazing...BUT...alot of artifacts in the beam. Is there a different reflector that will fit the newer Maglights directly?..or am I better off trying to sputter the existing reflector?

Pheonix Electroform products makes a drop-in parabola reflector for the new LED mags. If you get one, let us know how you like it. I've never seen one used in a mag yet.

I've had luck lightly sputtering led reflectors. I've also applied too much clear finished and ruined them. Be conservative and try that. It's free! If that doesn't work, it's time for a new reflector.
