Fenix TK70 problem?

Have anyone heard what kind of problem there is with the TK70?

I have noticed that almost all uk-dealers don´t have any TK70 in stock, so I asked when they thought it would be back in stock. This is one answer I got:

To be honest, I'm not sure. There has been a technical fault with some of them so Fenix are trying to sort that out.

If I find one in stock somewhere, is it safe to buy it? :thinking:

Well, thats weird. Here in The Netherlands, at KATO group the TK70 is in stock. http://www.knivesandtools.nl/nl/pt/-fenix-tk70-xm-l-led-2200-lumen.htm
Haven't heard anything about problems with the tk70.

I asked Fenix about this, they have good service and aswered me instantly. I really like Fenix they are living up to their name

As for our TK70, honest to say, it did have some problems when using Alkaline batteries(it`s safe, just functional problem, ), but no any problem when using NI-MH rechargeable batteries.

I think our finnish distributor could provide TK70 and NI-MH batteries for you."
