If you want BETTER runtime, this will accomplish that, but so will other LED modules. Fry's sells the same Nite Ize for a few dollars cheaper. For $5 more or so you can get a much better LED module in the Terralux TLE-6EXB.

If you really want to go the cheap route, the Dorcy 2-cell LED is brighter than the Nite Ize. $3.99!
