How to modify Fenix LD01 pocket clip?

I EDC my Fenix LD01 and love it. However, every time I reach into my right front pocket, I scratch my hand/wrist on the two projecting pieces of the clip.

Can anyone recommend a fix for this? I'm not even sure why Fenix didn't smooth out that part of the clip.

Yeah, that's the one bad thing about this clip.

I cut them off with a hacksaw and filed the edges.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. How long have you EDC'ed the light with the modded clip? Any problems with the clip slipping off?

No problem. It's still the same clip. And if there was a problem, a drop of superglue will fix it.

I don't have a problem with the clip scratching. What does annoy me is that it is so tight it chips the anodising every time I put it on or take it off. At least it means it doesn't slip off though!
