Just playing around tonite, did some cieling bounces and i was amazed when my ex11 was noticabley brighter than my ife1 ?? with the ex11 rated at 200lms and the ife1 rated at 260 i expected the other way round, i swapped batterys and retested but same result ??
do i have the extremes of led lottery here, or a kick *** ex11 !!
my ife1 function perfect - ive had it a year now and it in turn was noticabley brighter than my 200lm nex when i purchased it, however i cannot make that comparison now as the nex is xml'ed.
the only other answer is the nex and ife1 are hugely overated and the ex11 is bang on the money. i know my nex and ife1 pull 1.2 amps at the tail though

Probably because EX11 was measured using ANSI standards, whereas IFE1 wasn't.

I'd say, it's because IFE1 is regulated and EX11 goes direct drive on RCR. Sure, it's brighter, but the runtime and battery life will be greatly reduced.
