Possibly covered many (?) times but.... I am on a trip to Albuquerque this week, flyng out of the East Coast. I plan to carry an HDS rotary and a trit fob as possible (?) controversial items. I just spoke with airport security staff who assure me I will have no problems. Anyone have any experience with this?

As you said its been covered many times. There are a number of threads that I've seen in the las t several months. Just do a search and you should find them.

Like security told you there should be no real issues. But I wouldn't trust the TSA with a photon light to be honest. "Excuse me sir that item looks suspicious you'll have to leave that here with us". I know they usually let people get out of line to find a way to send some items via mail but if your running late that isn't always a possibility. Good luck with your flight.

This topic, as noted above, has been discussed at length. Do some searching, for example use google, cpf only at the top of every page.
