Difference in beam quality: Jetbeam jet III(XML) smooth vs. orange peel reflector?

I'm curious as to how much difference in beam quality and width/throw a person could expect from the same flashlight with different types of reflectors. The 2 high performance LED lights I own both have OP reflectors, and I have not seen the same models with smooth reflectors.

I am considering purchasing the Jetbeam jet III with the XML LED, but it comes with either smooth or OP reflectors, and I cant really tell a difference by watching a video.

What difference would I expect to see?

I have the Jetbeam III M XML smooth reflector, and the beam quality is pretty good. The difference you will probably see is about 5%-10% in beam quality and throw. I have thr Jetbeam RRT-0 in smooth & OP reflector where the hotspot is more defined, and throws just a little better.
