Ok this is NOT another which is best thread !!

Hi to all ...

As title states this is not another which is best thread , i have spent the last 7-10 day going throught threads upon thread i have gained aload of info but im still a bit lost !

Let me start > My boyfriend has been serving in the British Army and is over in Afkan his flashlight for the last 18 months has been the Surefire L2 which has never let him down and its used daily for long hours .. But theres a 123 cell shortages so im looking for a 2xAA flashlight ..... Now criteria the only MUST is its reliability im looking if possible to be as robust as his surefire ! hes not really fussed about loads of settings as long as its there when he needs it !

The brands ive picked so far are Olight , Zebra & Sunwayman as the top brand ! Am i right ?

And yes if i had the cash i would buy a mcgizmo .. But sadly not today.

Quark AA² Tactical or "X" AA² Tactical

Surefire has a great AA flashlight. 2 levels. I have one and can say it is 100% reliable, maybe not as bright as the EagleTac.

Would be hard to beat a Valiant Twisty 2xAA with a Malkoff drop-in for reliability ....
