I am considering making a canister light, and pondering how to contain the rechargable battery pack.
Has anyone ever put the pre-wired batteries into a plastic water bottle, then filled the bottle around the batteries with silicone caulk. The connector would protrude from the silicone and continue to the lighthead. Seems the silicone would be noncompressable and water tight. Any thoughts?
