UltraStinger charger OK for Stinger HP?

I hope I'm not in the process of destroying my Stinger HP as I type this.

I just received it and placed it in my wall mounted US charger (normal "slow" charger)after reading identical specs printed on both chargers.

I just want to make sure I haven't made a serious error. Any info is welcome.

It should be ok, I think all the chargers are universal. I charge my Polystinger on my US charger and its fine.

I use the same AC/DC (slow) chargers for my Stinger and UltraStinger without incident.

The slow charger is universal for all type of stingers, fast charger is not.

I just got a US for Christmas. It came with 2 cradles which look identical, and a wall-charge plug and a car accessory plug.
Do I have a "fast" charger or is it some other option? Does using a 2.5 hour charger reduce battery life? (Cycles of charge/discharge)

FYI i have talked to my local streamlight dealer and have found out that on a polystinger rapid charger ac setup, that u cannot safely charge a ultra-stinger due to to the wall transformer, u need to purchase the ultra stinger power suppy to work with the rapid charger.
