Yes, the short answer is most likley "No"
I think a dedicated (and possibly brutal) few enthusiasts have managed to get some of the early ZL headlamps apart AND back togtether AND working, but I haven't read of anyone doing it recently (possibly impossible unless you have the right tools, and I have no idea what they would be).

Had wanted to get Bugsy to cerakote my SC600 but disassembling is a pain in the butt. The only CPFer I've seen modding (the guts of) quite a few Zebralights is DeFab.
