I searched the forum but didn't see anything. But many of today's phone comes with a light sensor which gives pretty good lux readings. Has anyone tried theirs with flashlight to estimating lumens?

I did try one of those apps on my Galaxy S2, bit it only seemed to measure 100, 1,000 & 10,000 lux! Think it depends on the phone model and what sensor it uses.

Its what I have too, but you can use the built in function that gives much better reading. Type *#0*# on your keypad.
