F/S - SST90 maglite mods

You are getting these lights at a huge discount. Even if you don't like the red or green LED, you could easily use the host, batteries and driver for a new build. It cost me over $400 to build these lights. I could probably get more money if I simply sold the components separate, but I'd rather sell them complete. These lights come with the batteries which have only seen two recharge cycles.

Four 1/2 D NIMH Cells -$20 shipped conus (Included in purchase if you buy both lights)

SOLD Light #1 - Green SST90 - $70 shipped conus (USPS Priority mail, insurance included), add $20 for international shipping.
Build Details
-Mag 2D Host
-SST90 Green LED (Roughly 1,000 lumens based on 5.5 amps at tailcap)
-Britelumens SST90 Heatsink
-TaskLED H6CC Driver set to 6.3 amps (Can be set up to 6.7A)
-Two 26650 Batteries INCLUDED (4sevens brand, 3.7v 4000mAh) with pvc sleeve

SOLD Light #2 - Red SST90 - $70 shipped conus (USPS Priority mail, insurance included), add $20 for international shipping.
Build Details
-Mag 2D Host
-SST90 Red LED (Roughly 400 lumens based on 4amps at tailcap)
-Britelumens SST90 Heatsink
-TaskLED H6CC Driver set to 6.3 amps (Can be set to up to 6.7A)
-Two 32600 Batteries INCLUDED (3.0v, 4000mAh each)

Also, in the interest of full disclosure, I unfortunately de-domed the Red LED during the build. I used super glue to repair it and there is no visible impact to the beam shape.

Please specify what item you want in your "I'll take it" post.

Left to Right: Green SST90 Mag Disassembled, Four 1/2 D NIMH cells, Red SST90 Mag Disassembled.

This beamshot is a bit grainy but it shows the halo of the red SST90 well.

I attempted to send a pm, but I don't think you have enough posts yet to received pm's. Make some more posts and then you should be able to send a pm.

Bump - still for sale. May be willing to part these out if you only need the driver, batteries or LED.

Hi, I'm fairly interested in the red one. Do they get too hot to hold after a while? If so, how long do they take to get to that level?

After about 15 minutes of constant-on, the switch area warms up to where you wouldn't want to push it any further. You can still hold it, but with the driver costing $32 and the LED costing $35, I didn't want to push it much more. The green one will get to the same temperature after about 10 minutes.
