I had been looking for a good led work light, after all the really expensive ones i saw on the tool trucks I asked my dad ( a member of this forum ) and ended up with an outstanding specimen as a gift from him.
Hands down it is the best cordless worklight I have ever seen.
A 400 lumen 4-LED rechargable work light ( DORCY 41-4225 )

I am a rookie with LED tech. but i found out after it stopped charging that the Ni-MH 4.8v
battery only had 1.96v so i was doing some research on the forums to see if i could upgrade to LION
when i discovered that the switch quit also. I dont have the heart to tell the ole man and am desparate to repair it. The manufacture is of no help exept for a new batt.

As i have limited means my options are slim. Any help for a fng would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum!

Do you have any photos? You should be able to decipher whether it is the switch or the battery. Depending on what type of switch you have on the light.
